Canal cities, UNESCO windmills, spring tulip fields and a national park where you cycle on free bicycles instead of driving. Our Netherlands tour packages from India are planned slowly, connecting the famous sights to the quieter ones most itineraries skip.
Why the Netherlands, the IKOU way
Past the canal-boat photos, the Netherlands has quietly designed itself for unhurried travel: a national park that hands you a free bicycle instead of a car park, a village with no roads at all, only water. We build the trip around those two moments, not just the postcard ones. See also IKOU Originals for the other slow, curated experiences we build the same way.

Rijksmuseum, the Jordaan, then stroopwafel, bitterballen and herring at a brown cafe.
Train to Den Haag for the Mauritshuis, then on to Rotterdam's Cube Houses and Markthal.
A train and short local transfer to the nineteen windmills at Kinderdijk.
Cycle the park on a free white bicycle, then the Kroller-Muller's Van Gogh collection.
Punt through Giethoorn's canals, a last lunch on the water, then your flight home.

Good to know
Yes, a Schengen (Type C) visa, applied for through VFS Global. Apply 6-8 weeks before travel; you'll need travel insurance covering at least EUR 30,000, proof of accommodation and a return itinerary.
Only during Keukenhof's short season, roughly mid-March to mid-May, with mid-April to early May the most colourful. Outside that window the gardens are closed; we plan the rest of the trip around whichever weeks you're travelling.
By train. Utrecht, The Hague, Rotterdam and Haarlem are all under an hour from Amsterdam by NS train, so most of the country works as day trips from one base.
The park keeps about 1,800 white bicycles at its entrances, free to use anywhere inside - no booking, no charge. It's how we get you between the forest, the heath and the Kroller-Muller Museum's Van Gogh collection without a car.
Stroopwafel (a thin waffle with a syrup filling, originally from Gouda), bitterballen (crumbed, deep-fried beef snacks) and Hollandse nieuwe - raw soused herring, traditionally eaten by the tail, chopped onion on the side. We build a tasting stop into the Amsterdam days rather than leaving it to chance.
Efteling, a fairy-tale theme park near Kaatsheuvel with its own forest of storybook attractions, is the country's best-known family day out. It's a detour from the main route above, so tell us if you want it built in.
