Malaysia · Southeast Asia
A lit-up skyline, a misty hill temple an hour above it, and a beach island at the end. Our Malaysia tour packages from India string together the city, the highlands and the coast without the logistics showing.
Why Malaysia, the IKOU way
Kuala Lumpur's towers are barely an hour's drive from a nine-storey temple wrapped in highland cloud, and a short flight puts you on a beach island by the same evening. Because the pieces sit so close, we don't make you choose one Malaysia over another: we build a loop that trades the skyline for the hills for the coast, each for a couple of easy days, so nothing feels rushed and nothing gets left out.

A sample journey
Land at KLIA, into the city, an easy first evening under the Petronas Towers.
The Petronas Towers by day, Batu Caves' limestone steps, then Bukit Bintang after dark.
Cable car up to Genting and the nine-storey Chin Swee Caves Temple in the cloud.
Fly to George Town: shophouses, clan houses, street art and a hawker dinner by Chew Jetty.
Fly on to Langkawi: Pantai Cenang's sand, the Sky Bridge above the rainforest, a slow dusk.
A late breakfast by the beach, duty-free shopping, then the flight home.
A sample to show the rhythm, not a fixed package. Every IKOU journey is shaped around you.
Good to know
No, not for most trips. Malaysia's Immigration Department currently allows Indian passport holders to enter visa-free for up to 30 days, for tourism, business, social visits or transit, and this exemption runs until 31 December 2026. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months, and every traveller files the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online in the days before arrival. This is a time-bound exemption rather than a permanent rule, so we check the official Immigration Department site again before every trip we plan, and you should too before you fly.
There is no single dry season across the whole country: the Northeast Monsoon (roughly October to February) brings the heavier rain to the East Coast and Borneo, while the Southwest Monsoon (April to October) shifts it the other way. The west-coast route on this page, Kuala Lumpur, Genting, Penang and Langkawi, sees showers in brief spells year-round rather than long washouts, and Langkawi in particular is sheltered from the Northeast Monsoon. Pack for warm, humid days and a passing shower whenever you travel.
Our journeys usually run 6 to 9 days: six covers Kuala Lumpur, a night in the cool of Genting Highlands and one island stop; nine lets you add Penang's heritage streets at an easier pace, or a second island. Because the pieces sit so close together, even a 6-day loop doesn't feel rushed.
The currency is the Malaysian ringgit (MYR). Kuala Lumpur's LRT and monorail cover the city centre easily, with Grab filling the gaps; Genting is reached by cable car from Gohtong Jaya; Penang and Langkawi are a short domestic flight from KL, with ferries as an alternative to Penang and on to Langkawi from the mainland.
