IKOU Holidays is a travel experience studio. This policy covers the information collected through ikouholidays.com.
We only collect what you choose to give us, through two forms on this site:
The enquiry form (on our IKOU Studio page): your name, email address, and whatever you tell us about your trip.
The newsletter form (footer, every page): your email address only.
We also use a few analytics tools to understand how people use this website. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand overall website traffic and how visitors use the site, and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the website in more detail — including aggregated usage information, session recordings, heatmaps, and clicks and scrolling behaviour. Google Tag Manager is what we use behind the scenes to manage these analytics and measurement tags. Together, these tools may pick up technical and usage information such as which pages you visit, how you interact with the site, browser or device information, and, where available, approximate location information.
We use analytics technologies and cookies to understand how people use this website and to help us improve it. Microsoft Clarity may use cookies to associate page views and sessions together. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies for the same kind of measurement. You're always in control of this — you can allow, block, or delete these cookies through your browser's settings.
Microsoft Clarity masks sensitive content by default, including anything typed into input fields, so it isn't recorded. We haven't configured Clarity to collect sensitive personal information, and we don't intend to.
The information you share through our forms is used to reply to your enquiry and plan your journey with you, and to send newsletter updates if you've subscribed. We never use it for anything else, and we never sell or rent it to anyone.
Separately, the anonymised, aggregated analytics information described above is only used to understand how the website is performing and where we can improve it — it isn't linked back to you personally or mixed with your enquiry or newsletter details.
Nobody, unless you become a traveller with us — at which point we share only what's necessary (like names and travel dates) with the specific hotels, guides, or local partners involved in your trip, so they can host you properly. We don't hand your details to advertisers or data brokers.
Form submissions are processed through Netlify, our website host, and land directly in our inbox. We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to plan and support your trip, and newsletter emails for as long as you stay subscribed.
Unsubscribe from the newsletter anytime using the link in any email. To see, correct, or delete the information we hold on you, just email us — hello@ikouholidays.com — and we'll sort it out directly, no forms or friction.
