Why Thailand, the IKOU way

Most trips pick temples or islands.
We build the route that carries both.

Thailand rewards a trip that moves: a gold-spired morning at the Grand Palace, a market lunch in the old city, a flight north into mountain air, then a boat out to water the colour of the postcards. Domestic flights and an easy rail line make that route genuinely easy, so a Thailand tour package from India can hold Bangkok, Chiang Mai and the Andaman coast without feeling rushed between them.

Let's go together.

Thailand, the IKOU way

Everyone plans Bangkok. Few plan the route out of it.

The flights and trains between temples and islands are short; we use that to build one unhurried trip, not three separate ones.

Thailand travel questions

Do Indians need a visa for Thailand?

Indian ordinary passport holders get a 30-day visa exemption for tourism, which the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi says remains in effect from 15 September 2026 until further notice. For longer stays, visas are applied for online through the official e-visa portal, thaievisa.go.th. Every traveller is also expected to complete a Thailand Digital Arrival Card online shortly before arrival. We build your paperwork into the planning timeline; check the embassy or e-visa site before you fly, since entry rules can change.

What is the best time to visit Thailand?

November to February is the cool, dry season and the best window for Bangkok and Chiang Mai. The Andaman coast around Phuket and Krabi stays good a little longer, into April, before the rains arrive. We time island days and temple days to the season you're travelling in.

How many days do you need for Thailand?

Most journeys we design run 8 to 10 days to comfortably hold Bangkok, a day in Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai and the islands together. A shorter trip can still combine two of the four; we plan the route around whichever combination you choose.

How do you get between the regions, and what money do you need?

The currency is the Thai baht (THB). Domestic flights connect Bangkok to Chiang Mai (about 1hr 15min) and to Krabi (about 1hr 25min); Ayutthaya is roughly an hour from Bangkok by train. Inside each city, metered taxis, tuk-tuks and ride-hailing apps cover the rest.

What should we eat in Thailand?

In Chiang Mai, order khao soi: egg noodles in a spiced coconut-curry broth, topped with crispy fried noodles, with lime and pickled mustard greens on the side. It is the signature dish of northern Thailand, and a bowl at a local shop is a natural lunch after the old-city temples. Chicken and vegetarian versions are easy to find, and in Bangkok, a street-side plate of pad thai is the classic first dinner.
