Temples, terraces, volcano views.
- Tegallalang rice terraces

- Sekumpul falls, north Bali
About 1 hr from the airport.
Bali · Indonesia
Sunrise treks up a still-active volcano, temples the tide swallows twice a day, and rice terraces that turn gold long before the crowds arrive.
Why Bali, the IKOU way
Our Bali tour packages from India are built around what actually brings you here. For most people it's a honeymoon, and Bali carries that better than almost anywhere else. For everyone else, it's the temples: Ubud's stone gates, offerings laid fresh each morning, a rhythm that has nothing to do with checking things off a list. See how we work in Discover IKOU.

Shaped from a real IKOU journey, shared as a sample, not a fixed package. Add Nusa Penida or more island days to stretch it to twelve.
Good to know
Yes. A paid Visa on Arrival or e-VOA, currently around IDR 500,000, for a 30-day stay, plus a separate IDR 150,000 Bali Tourist Levy paid online before you arrive. Fees and rules shift from time to time, so check the official Indonesian immigration site closer to your travel dates.
April to October is the dry season, the easiest stretch for temple visits and rice-terrace walks. The wetter months bring fewer crowds and a greener island, if you don't mind the odd afternoon shower.
Plan on 7 to 12 days. Our sample runs nine: three nights in Ubud, three by the sea in Sanur, two on the Gili Islands. Add Nusa Penida (boats leave from Sanur) or more island days to stretch it to twelve without rushing.
Start with nasi campur, a plate of steamed rice with small portions of chicken, vegetables, egg and fish, which lets you taste several Balinese flavours in one sitting. In Ubud, an easy tasting moment is lunch at a simple warung on day two, after the Tegallalang terraces. Babi guling, the island's spit-roast suckling pig, is the ceremonial dish; it is pork, and every warung also serves chicken and vegetable plates.
