Why Seychelles, the IKOU way

The one we'd send our own family to.
A honeymoon that doesn't feel like everyone else's.

Granite boulders older than most of the planet, beaches that take a boat or a guide to reach, and a pace that never asks you to hurry: it's one of the few places where slowing down is the whole point. It's also, quietly, one of the first places IKOU ever built a trip for.

Seychelles, the IKOU way

The best beach here isn't on a map. It's the one your guide walks you to.

Slowing the itinerary down is the whole point.

Seychelles travel questions

Do Indians need a visa for Seychelles?

No visa is needed in advance: Indian passport holders are issued a free Visitor's Permit on arrival, usually valid for 30 days. Every traveller must also complete the online Seychelles Electronic Border System before arrival. Rules change, so check the official Seychelles immigration site before you fly.

What is the best time to visit Seychelles?

It is a year-round destination. April–May and October–November tend to have the calmest seas, between the two monsoon seasons.

How many days do you need for Seychelles?

Most journeys we design run 6 to 8 days across two islands, enough to feel unhurried without needing an island-a-day pace.

What should we eat in Seychelles?

Order kari zourit, the Creole octopus curry cooked in coconut milk with curry leaves, ginger and turmeric, served with rice. A beach lunch of freshly grilled fish with lime, garlic and a tomato chutney is the other classic, best eaten on Praslin or La Digue. Creole curries come with fish, chicken or octopus, so there is always a choice.
